Cookie Policy
Last updated: April 20, 2026 Effective date: April 20, 2026 Version: 2.0.0
1. Introduction
This Cookie Policy explains how Xiom OÜ, a private limited company incorporated in Estonia (registry code: 17487029, registered address: Sepapaja tn 6, 15551 Tallinn, Harju maakond, Estonia) ("Xiom," "we," "our," or "us"), uses cookies and similar tracking technologies on the Prosperify marketing website and web application (together, the "Website"), available at https://prosperify.ai and related subdomains.
This Policy should be read together with our Privacy Policy and Terms of Service.
This Policy applies to our Website only. The Prosperify mobile application uses limited tracking technologies that operate differently from web cookies; those are described in our Privacy Policy.
2. What Are Cookies and Similar Technologies?
2.1 Cookies
A cookie is a small text file that a website places on your device (computer, phone, or tablet) when you visit. Cookies allow the website to recognize your device and remember information about your visit, such as preferences and login state.
2.2 Similar Technologies
In addition to cookies, we may use similar technologies that perform comparable functions:
- Local storage and session storage — data stored in your browser by the website
- Pixels (also called web beacons or tracking pixels) — small images embedded in pages or emails to record visits or interactions
- Software development kits (SDKs) — code embedded in our web app to enable functionality
- Device fingerprinting signals — information about your device and browser configuration that, in combination, can identify your device
In this Policy, "cookies" refers to all of these technologies unless we say otherwise.
2.3 First-Party vs Third-Party Cookies
- First-party cookies are set by us directly when you visit our Website
- Third-party cookies are set by other organizations whose services we use on our Website (for example, an analytics provider). These third parties may use the data they collect for their own purposes, subject to their own privacy and cookie policies
2.4 Session vs Persistent Cookies
- Session cookies are temporary and are deleted when you close your browser
- Persistent cookies remain on your device for a defined period or until you delete them
3. Why We Use Cookies
We use cookies to:
- Operate the Website and keep it secure
- Authenticate you and keep you logged in to the web app
- Remember your preferences and settings
- Understand how visitors use the Website so we can improve it
- Measure the performance of our content and (where applicable) marketing activities
- Comply with our legal obligations
We do not use cookies to track you across unrelated websites for cross-context behavioral advertising without your explicit consent.
4. Categories of Cookies We Use
We classify cookies into the categories below. The specific cookies active at any time are listed in our Cookie Preferences Center, accessible via the cookie banner or the "Cookie Preferences" link in our footer.
4.1 Strictly Necessary Cookies (always active)
These cookies are essential for the Website to function. They cannot be turned off in our systems and do not require your consent. They are typically set in response to actions you take, such as logging in or filling in forms. Without these cookies, parts of the Website will not work.
Purposes include:
- Authenticating you and maintaining your logged-in session
- Preserving the contents of forms during navigation
- Load balancing and routing requests across our infrastructure
- Detecting and preventing fraud, abuse, and security incidents
- Remembering your cookie consent choices
- Enforcing security policies (e.g., CSRF protection)
Legal basis: Necessary for the performance of the contract with you and our legitimate interests in operating a secure service. Under the EU ePrivacy Directive, no consent is required for strictly necessary cookies.
4.2 Functional Cookies (consent-based)
These cookies enable enhanced functionality and personalization but are not strictly required for the Website to operate.
Purposes include:
- Remembering your language, currency, and display preferences
- Remembering your dashboard layout and customizations
- Enabling chat or in-app support widgets
- Embedding videos or other interactive content
Legal basis: Your consent. You may withdraw consent at any time.
4.3 Analytics and Performance Cookies (consent-based)
These cookies help us understand how visitors interact with the Website by collecting information about pages visited, time spent, errors encountered, and similar metrics. The information is generally aggregated and used to improve the Website.
Purposes include:
- Measuring page views, sessions, and unique visitors
- Identifying popular features and content
- Detecting performance issues, crashes, and errors
- Understanding navigation patterns
We currently do not use third-party analytics cookies (no Google Analytics, Plausible, Fathom, PostHog, Matomo, or similar). Error and crash monitoring is provided by Sentry (Functional Software, Inc.) and is disclosed in our Privacy Policy. If we introduce additional analytics providers in the future, this Cookie Policy and the Cookie Preferences Center will be updated accordingly, and consent will be requested where required.
Legal basis: Your consent. Where we use analytics tools configured to be privacy-preserving (e.g., IP anonymization, no cross-site tracking, EU-only data hosting), we may rely on legitimate interests where local law permits — but we still default to consent where required.
4.4 Marketing and Advertising Cookies (consent-based)
If we run marketing activities, these cookies may be used to measure the effectiveness of campaigns and, where you have consented, to show you relevant content on third-party sites.
Purposes include:
- Measuring conversions from advertising or referral campaigns
- Limiting the number of times you see an ad
- Building audiences for marketing purposes
We currently do not run any marketing or advertising cookies (no Google Ads, Meta Pixel, LinkedIn Insight Tag, or similar). If we introduce marketing cookies in the future, this Cookie Policy and the Cookie Preferences Center will be updated accordingly, and consent will be requested where required.
Legal basis: Your consent. You may withdraw consent at any time.
4.5 Social Media Cookies (consent-based)
If we embed social media features (such as share buttons or embedded posts), the relevant social media platforms may set cookies. These platforms may track your activity on our Website even if you do not interact with the embedded feature.
Legal basis: Your consent.
5. Specific Cookies in Use
A complete, up-to-date list of the cookies active on the Website — including the cookie name, provider, purpose, category, and retention period — is available in our Cookie Preferences Center:
Our Consent Management Platform automatically scans the Website and updates this list. We also review it regularly.
If you would like a snapshot of the list at a specific point in time, contact us at privacy@prosperify.ai.
6. Your Choices and How to Manage Cookies
6.1 Cookie Banner and Preferences Center
When you first visit the Website, our cookie banner asks for your consent to non-essential cookies. You can:
- Accept all — consent to all cookie categories
- Reject all — decline all non-essential cookies (strictly necessary cookies remain active)
- Customize — choose which categories to accept or reject
You can change your choices at any time by:
- Clicking the "Cookie Preferences" link in the Website footer
- Clicking the persistent cookie icon (where available)
- Clearing cookies in your browser, which will cause the banner to reappear on your next visit
6.2 Browser Controls
Most browsers allow you to control cookies through their settings, including blocking, deleting, or being notified before a cookie is set. The location of these controls varies by browser:
- Chrome: Settings → Privacy and security → Cookies and other site data
- Safari: Settings → Privacy
- Firefox: Settings → Privacy & Security → Cookies and Site Data
- Edge: Settings → Cookies and site permissions
Disabling cookies through your browser may affect the functionality of the Website, including the web app's ability to keep you logged in.
6.3 Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control
We respect the Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal where it is legally recognized as an opt-out mechanism (for example, in California under CCPA/CPRA). When we detect a GPC signal, we treat it as a request to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information, where applicable.
We do not currently respond to legacy "Do Not Track" browser signals, which lack a consistent industry standard.
6.4 Mobile App
For the Prosperify mobile application, tracking preferences are managed separately within the app at Settings → Privacy → Tracking Preferences, and through your operating system's controls (Apple's App Tracking Transparency on iOS, advertising ID controls on Android).
6.5 Opt-Out Tools for Advertising
You can also opt out of advertising-related tracking through industry tools such as:
- EU: Your Online Choices
- US: Digital Advertising Alliance, Network Advertising Initiative
- Canada: Digital Advertising Alliance of Canada
7. Consent Record and Withdrawal
Where we rely on your consent for cookies, our Consent Management Platform records:
- The categories of cookies you accepted or rejected
- The date and time of your decision
- The version of the Cookie Policy in effect at the time
- A pseudonymous identifier linking your choice to your browser
This record is retained as evidence of consent in accordance with GDPR Article 7(1) and the EU ePrivacy Directive. We may keep it for up to 24 months, after which we will ask for your consent again.
You may withdraw your consent at any time through the Cookie Preferences Center. Withdrawal does not affect the lawfulness of any processing based on consent before withdrawal.
8. Cookies and Personal Data
Some cookies process information that may constitute personal data under GDPR, UK GDPR, CCPA/CPRA, LGPD, and similar laws — for example, an online identifier or IP address. Where this is the case, our Privacy Policy applies in addition to this Cookie Policy.
The legal bases, retention rules, international transfer safeguards, and your rights as a data subject are described in the Privacy Policy. In particular:
- Your right to access, correct, delete, or object to processing of personal data collected via cookies
- Your right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority — for EU users, the Estonian Data Protection Inspectorate (aki.ee)
9. Third-Party Recipients
When you accept cookies set by third parties, those third parties may receive and process information about your visit, subject to their own policies. Categories of recipients include:
- Analytics providers
- Marketing and advertising providers (where applicable)
- Customer support and chat providers
- Content delivery networks and security providers
- Social media platforms (where embedded features are used)
A current list of specific providers, with links to their privacy policies, is available in our Cookie Preferences Center.
10. International Data Transfers
Some cookie providers are based outside the EU/EEA, including in the United States. Where data is transferred to such countries, we rely on the safeguards described in our Privacy Policy (Section 10), including European Commission adequacy decisions, Standard Contractual Clauses, and supplementary measures where necessary.
11. Children
The Website is not directed to individuals under the age of 18, and we do not knowingly collect data from minors through cookies. See our Privacy Policy for further information on children's privacy.
12. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Cookie Policy to reflect changes in the cookies we use, our practices, or applicable law. When we make material changes:
- We will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this Policy
- We will re-trigger the cookie banner where required by law
- We will provide additional notice (e.g., in-product notification) where appropriate
The version number and update history may be available in our Cookie Preferences Center.
